About The Central Pennsylvania Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Central Pennsylvania Convention & Visitors Bureau (CPCVB) is a nonprofit, membership-based organization committed to the fundamental principal that conventions and visitors can be more effectively attracted to our area through "coordinated group action" rather than independent action. The bureau's mission is to develop, promote, and engage in travel related activities and coordinate visitor services designed to enhance the economic activity and quality of life within the county and thereby contribute to the commonwealth.

The Convention and Visitors Bureau is, therefore, the county's single, most important destination marketing organization, projecting an image for our area into various targeted markets. Cities and towns worldwide are represented and marketed as vacation and meeting destinations by Convention and Visitors Bureaus. Your membership joins you to a network of business professionals who understand that travel and tourism are vital to the overall wealth and economic strength of the region.

To develop, promote, and engage in travel related activities and coordinate visitor services designed to enhance the economic activity and quality of life within the county and thereby contribute to the commonwealth.

Inspiring you to be as amazed by Happy Valley as we are.
