There are few places as fun and unique experience to enjoy a cold drink and burger than outside of Beaver Stadium. The tailgating grounds form a ring around the stadium. To get more info visit our tailgating article.
The annual spring game is the last of 15 organized practices for the football program during the spring semester and the first opportunity for Nittany Lion fans to see how the team is coming along. With admission to the stadium being complimentary, Blue-White weekend is an excellent opportunity to introduce your family to the brand and atmosphere of Penn State Football.
We advise visitors to get inside the stadium 45 minutes to an hour before kick-off to provide adequate time for getting through security, finding a seat (as this is a general admission event) and purchasing food.
Make sure that you save some energy because Sunday is the annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run benefitting the Special Olympics Pennsylvania chapter. Participants will be able to finish their walk or run at the 50 yard line of Beaver Stadium.
To get your Blue-White game weekend started request a Central PA Visitors Guide to find all the best restaurants, lodging, attractions and so much more. You better get your lodging booked, because it goes fast for this annual favorite.
