Roar for the Nittany Lions as they give an exhibition of the upcoming season. This informal Penn State Football reunion is complete with a tailgating atmosphere, local craft and food vendors, and activities lasting all weekend. Come join the fun and root for your favorite team!
The event is a favorite of Penn Staters looking to finally escape the cold of winter and enjoy their Nittany Lions for the conclusion of spring practice. Attendance for the game often ranges between 60,000-80,000. It is important to check on the weather forecast before leaving your home to pack accordingly.
Parking for the game will be free for season ticket holders who received the pass with their previous season tickets. Those without season tickets will be charged $20 per car, while overnight RV's and buses will be charged $60. Overnight RV parking will open up at 8 AM the day before. Day of game parking will open up at 8 AM. Charges will be cash only.
Check out the Fan Festival happening along Curtin Road starting at 9 AM. You should expect to find a variety of food vendors, games, sponsor booths and activities.
Before the game bring your favorite piece of memorabilia to a pre-game autograph session from 12:15-1:05 PM with members of the Nittany Lion team. Please arrive with time to spare as there is often a line. (limited one item per person)
There are few places as fun and unique experience to enjoy a cold drink and burger than outside of Beaver Stadium. The tailgating grounds form a ring around the stadium. To get more info visit our tailgating article.
The annual spring game is the last of 15 organized practices for the football program during the spring semester and the first opportunity for Nittany Lion fans to see how the team is coming along. With admission to the stadium being complimentary, Blue-White weekend is an excellent opportunity to introduce your family to the brand and atmosphere of Penn State Football.
We advise visitors to get inside the stadium 45 minutes to an hour before kick-off to provide adequate time for getting through security, finding a seat (as this is a general admission event) and purchasing food.
Make sure that you save some energy because Sunday is the annual Paterno Family Beaver Stadium Run benefitting the Special Olympics Pennsylvania chapter. Participants will be able to finish their walk or run at the 50 yard line of Beaver Stadium.
To get your Blue-White game weekend started request a Central PA Visitors Guide to find all the best restaurants, lodging, attractions and so much more. You better get your lodging booked, because it goes fast for this annual favorite.
