Saturday, July 4th promises to be one heck of a party in State College! Join us for world-famous fireworks, the Firecracker 4k, Heroes Parade, vendors, entertainment, activities and concessions!
Central PA 4thFest is a daylong, family oriented, patriotic birthday party held July 4th on the east campus of Penn State University.
Besides the Firecracker 4K Race in the morning, Parade of Heroes, and three venues of entertainment, there's an afternoon full of activities for young and old! Spend the day with us! And don't forget the Street Dance after the Craig Morgan Concert & Fireworks - why fight the traffic when you can stick around and party!
At 2p.m., just as the Parade of Heroes begins, the food vendors open, offering everything from Kettle Corn to sausages and sno-cones. Click here for a full list of mouth-watering food vendors. Follow that by watching a gravity-defying BMX Bike & Rollerbladers stunt show on the Founders Mall. Show your appreciation to our troops by signing a card at the Operation Thank You tent, then settle in for a stunning pyrotechnics display for a preview of the evening's presentation!
Also available on the Founders Mall will be kids crafts and face-painting. Next door on Curtin Road are the Freedom Franks - delicious hot dogs (in keeping with the theme, they are free, of course!)
Explore the All-Sports Museum, puppet shows, Sky's the Limit Balloon rides and much much more! The Craig Morgan concert starts at 7:30 p.m. in the VIP viewing area followed by the festival's culmination - the top-rated fireworks! After the show enjoy a street dance with Chris Vipond and the Stanley Street Band. Click here for a full list of live music and entertainment offered throughout the day and into the evening.
With Flavors of Happy Valley in full swing, extend your 4th Fest celebrations through the weekend by taking advantage of great deals on all Centre County has to offer!
